1964-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

A very strong tripled CCW spread from a pivot at about 11:00 shows on LIBERTY, IGWT, the date, the designer’s initials, and the hair at the top and back of the head. Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous SW/NE die scratches can be found to the left of the top of the head and to the right of the entire back of the head. Reverse: Flanged G in FG. The reverse is an RPM variety listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1964-D 50¢ WRPM-006. It is a D/D North.
