Description
1963 WDDO-026 is a doubled die obverse on the 1963 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class II spread, very close and toward the center, appears on the ribbon's bottom, the date and IN GOD WE TRUST. On the obverse, a scratch heads ENE off the middle of the E in LIBERTY, two parallel scratches head SW off the D in GOD from its bottom left, and a light scratch crosses the bust's base. On the reverse, right of the lower A in STATES there is a gouge. Joe Feld submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
