1963 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A strong spread towards the center shows on IGWT, the date, the designer’s initials, and the lower queue. Die Markers: Obverse: A die dent can be found on the upper left of the B in LIBERTY. A die scratch runs SW from the lower right of the R in TRUST. A light die crack runs across the base of the bust. A die crack runs E/W through the upper hair. Reverse: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. A die crack runs through the leaves above the AR in DOLLAR. Obverse:
