1963 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-006

Description

A spread towards the center shows on IGWT, the date, the designer’s initials, the bottom of the queue, and LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs NE from the top of the O in GOD. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1963 25¢ WDDR-001. A Class I CCW spread shows on USA, QUARTER DOLLAR, EPU, and slightly on the lower branch ends. A heavy die gouge can be found between the upper left of the U in QUARTER and the leave above the U. Obverse:
