Error
Description
A very close spread towards the center shows on IN, the TRU of TRUST, and the lower queue. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die scratch runs from the top left of the R in TRUST to the bottom right of the N of IN. Die gouges can be found along the upper left side of the Y in LIBERTY. A light die crack runs across the base of the bust. Obverse Stage B: The Stage A die scratch has been abraded away. The die crack running across the base of the bust is much heavier and runs into the lower queue. Numerous die scratches can now be found throughout the obverse. Reverse Stage A: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. Reverse Stage B: A die gouge can be found to the right of the center of the F in OF. Obverse Stage A:
