Description
1963 WDDO-014 is a doubled die obverse on the 1963 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. A spread toward the center appears on the ribbon's bottom, the designer's initials, the date and IN GOD WE TRUST. On the obverse, scratches head ENE off the upper 9 in the date, a scratch heads east off the top of the I in LIBERTY, scratches head SW off the lower T, and right of the Y a SW/NE scratch runs. Wexler notes no reverse markers. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
