Description
The 1961P-5DER-001T Trail Die Reverse is a trail die reverse variety of the United States nickel. This variety was discovered on the 1961 Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a die scratch is seen in the bottom of the queue below the bow. Reverse is LDS – a large vertical die scratch is seen in the field to the left of the Monticello building. This die was found by Joey Kim of Hawaii.
