Description
Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM where it is difficult to distinguish because of its late die state (LDS). AMERICA appears to be tripled. Doubling shows on both sides of the building. A close spread shows on ELLO of MONTICELLO and FIVE CENTS where the upper left of T is tripled. Die Markers: Obverse: Diagonal die scratch between nose and TR of TRUST. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) between upper portion of F of OF and first A of AMERICA.
