Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Almost vertical die gouge near rim to near top of head at 12 oclock; short diagonal die gouge left of upper portion of L of LIBERTY. Reverse: Short, almost horizontal die gouge east from right corner of second roof line into field.
