Description
1961-D WRPM-006 is a repunched mint mark on the 1961-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). Obverse Stage A has a gouge in the field over the front of the hair and small gouges right of the lower part of LIBERTY's T. On Obverse Stage B the gouge over the hair has been abraded away, the gouges at LIBERTY are weaker, and a weak NE scratch appears above the hair's front. Reverse Stage A has a light N/S scratch inside the upper opening of PLURIBUS's S; on Reverse Stage B that scratch is weaker. Timothy Wissert submitted Stage A and Richard Hana Stage B. Wexler lists no cross-references.
