1960 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-015

Description

1960-D WRPM-015 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). E/W scratches lie in the lower opening of LIBERTY's B. On the reverse, a NW/SE scratch sits left of the mint mark. Scratches extend N from the upper left corner of ONE's E, from the E of E PLURIBUS UNUM and from the lower acorn. A NW/SE scratch joins the O in ONE with the lower right corner of that E, and two short N/S scratches link UNUM's N to the oak stem. Jeff Longeuay submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
