1960 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-009

Description

1960-D WRPM-009 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). A short scratch runs north from the lower inside of the date's 9. The reverse shows a NNE scratch leaving the inside of the left upright of UNUM's first U, slightly above center; a S by E scratch from the upper right of PLURIBUS's S through the dot; and a NE scratch off the lower left of AMERICA's first A. David Mulberry submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
