1960 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-012

Description

1960-D WRPM-012 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). Its comments note that the mint mark sits slightly lower than on WRPM-008 and that the primary mint mark tilts slightly clockwise (CW). In the field right of the upper part of the designer's initials is a N/S scratch, and a scratch runs SW off the lower left of WE. On the reverse, ENE scratches leave the bottom of the olive branch, and an ENE/WSW scratch crosses the right dot. Jeff Longeuay submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
