Description

Documented by VarietyVista as D/D East and cross-referenced as FS-501 in the Cherrypickers' Guide, the 1960-D Roosevelt dime RPM-003 is the repunched mintmark Wexler numbers WRPM-013. Wexler also describes it as D/D East, a secondary D east of the primary, and writes the Cherrypickers number as FS-10-1960D-501. Wexler's Coins and Die Varieties records NNE/SSW scratches above the last T of TRUST on the obverse, and on the reverse a NNW/SSE scratch linking the upper left oak leaf with the final flame tip at the right. Richard Hana submitted the coin, and CONECA lists it as RPM #3. VarietyVista credits Joe Miller with the report. Under its marker codes UVC-359 and DMR-004, stage A is an early die state it has not confirmed; at stage B both sides are in a middle die state, and at stage C both are in a late die state.
