Description
1960-D WRPM-008 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a WSW/ENE die scratch crosses the hair just above the forehead. On the reverse, a scratch links MONTICELLO's M, at its top right, with the O's upper left, running ESE, and many horizontal scratches lie above Monticello. Robert Lawson submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
