Description
1960-D WRPM-007 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). The obverse is in a late die state (LDS), with several SW/NE die scratches left of the nose and forehead. The reverse is also LDS: WNW/ESE scratches cross the upper UN of UNITED, and a scratch heads ENE off the second T of STATES at its top left. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
