Description
1960-D WRPM-005 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). The obverse is in a very late die state (VLDS), and Wexler notes no significant markers on it. The reverse is also VLDS: nearly vertical scratches fill the gap from UNITED's D to the first S in STATES, and a small gouge sits in STATES, between the A and the second T near their tops. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
