Description
1960-D WRPM-002 is a repunched mint mark on the 1960-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a die gouge lies close to the rim, midway between IN and GOD. On the reverse, scratches spread out in various directions from Monticello's upper right. Brian Ribar submitted the variety, and Wexler's comments note that he took the photo of the RPM. CONECA lists it as RPM #1.
