Description
1954-S WRPM-007 is a repunched mint mark on the 1954-S Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary S lies west of the primary S (S/S West). On the obverse, die gouges lie under the ST of TRUST, and another gouge sits under the R in LIBERTY. On the reverse, a short, nearly vertical gouge lies above the mint mark; a scratch heads NE from the steps under the mint mark; and a gouge sits left of the T in CENTS. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
