Error
Description
Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: E/W die scratch connecting the bottom of the TY of LIBERTY and running east to the 1 in the date. E/W die scratches below the TY in LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die scratches are weaker. Reverse Stage A: Short E/W die scratch west of the left Monticello base. Light die scratch ENE from the right side of the roof. Gouge at the upper bottom of the E in STATES. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch from the roof is abraded away. All other stage A die markers are weaker. Shows a lot of die fatigue around Monticello.
