Description
1953-D WRPM-006 is a repunched mint mark on the 1953-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a die scratch extends ESE off TRUST's first T, from its upper right. On the reverse, die gouges sit above the left porch and above MONTICELLO's second L. Scott Rusch submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
