1951 (S) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-005

Description

1951-S WRPM-005 is a repunched mint mark on the 1951-S Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as S/S West. On the obverse, a small die chip (dot) sits at the lower left of LIBERTY's L, and N/S scratches mark the jaw area of the profile. On the reverse, a small die chip (dot) is centered over the O in ONE, and die chips lie under the E and the last T of STATES. David Mulberry submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
