Description

Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous NW/SE die scratches in the fields. Two strong NW/SE die scratches in front of the eyebrow. Short die scratch extends NW from the left serif of the U in TRUST to the rim. Small die gouge in the upper opening of the N in IN. Reverse: Strong NW/SE die scratches in both arches. Two strong die scratches extend SE from the mintmark S. Strong N/S die scratches between MONTICELLO and FIVE CENTS. Short N/S die scratches above the building. Two strong die scratches through the first U in UNUM. Large die gouge below the M in UNUM.
