S/S WestDie Markers: Obverse: Numerous NW/SE die scratches in the fields. Two strong NW/SE die scratches in front of the eyebrow. Short die scratch extends NW from the left serif of the U in TRUST to the rim. Small die gouge in the upper opening of the N in IN. Reverse: Strong NW/SE die scratches in both arches. Two strong die scratches extend SE from the mintmark S. Strong N/S die scratches between MONTICELLO and FIVE CENTS. Short N/S die scratches above the building. Two strong die scratches through the first U in UNUM. Multiple E/W die scratches below GOD. Many N/S die scratches through Jefferson's forehead and face. Die gouge above the left side of the 4 in the date. Reverse: Many N/S die scratches throughout the reverse. Strong N/S die scratch through the B in PLURIBUS.
