Description
A strong CCW spread shows on IGWT, LIBERTY, the date, the designer’s initials, and the lower queue. Die Markers: Obverse: A strong die scratch runs west from the upper L in LIBERTY. A short die scratch runs west from the top of the E in LIBERTY. Two short die gouges run west from the lower R in LIBERTY. Two parallel die scratches run SW from the lower left of the first T in TRUST. Two short die crack runs west from the left T in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. Die gouges ca be found between the lower D in UNITED and the first S in STATES. A die crack runs down the eagle’s left wing. A die crack runs from the US in PLURIBUS to the upper left wing. Obverse:
