Cataloged by VarietyVista, the 1946 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-016 on the Washington Silver Quarter shows light spread on the digits 46 of the date. The Washington Quarter, designed by John Flanagan after a Jean-Antoine Houdon bust of George Washington, was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 90% silver and 10% copper at 6.25 grams and 24.3 mm diameter.
