Description
1943 WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 1943 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. A clockwise (CW) spread pivoting from about 3:00 appears on IN GOD WE TRUST, the LIBE of LIBERTY, the date, the ribbon's bottom and the designer's initials. On the obverse, a short vertical scratch lies inside the lower B in LIBERTY, and a scratch heads east off the top of the I. On the reverse, right of the D in UNITED there is a short vertical gouge. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
