Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: An almost vertical die scratch is seen near the rim below the L in LIBERTY. A short die scratch runs NE from the top left of the Y in LIBERTY. A long die scratch runs from NNE to SSW just left of the upper shoulder and south of the Y in LIBERTY. Die pitting can be found on the back of the collar and neck. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs from WSW to ENE through the hair above the ear into the upper forehead and into the field after passing through the front curl of hair above the front of the forehead. A die crack runs from the bottom of the 9 SW to the front of the vest. Reverse Stage A: First Reverse. A small die gouge (dot) is seen between the bottom of the D in UNITED and the 1st S in STATES. A light vertical die scratch can be found between the bottom of the I in AMERICA and the right wheat stem. Reverse Stage B: Second Reverse. A curving die scratch runs through the lower IBU in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs NE from the top of the I in AMERICA. A die scratch runs from east to west under the left side of the crossbar of the T in CENT. Obverse Stage A:
