ErrorDescription
A strong doubled eyelid shows to the south of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: An “X” shaped die scratch pattern runs through the tip of Lincoln’s nose. A series of vertical die scratches run through the date. Light, diagonal die scratches show to the northeast of the E in WE. Numerous, vertical die scratches run through LIBERTY. A concentric die scratch runs close to the rim below the VDB initials. Reverse: A diagonal die scratch runs southwest from the lower last A in AMERICA.
