Description
S/S/S Northwest & North Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Large mint mark. Die chip (dot) west of the lower tail of the 9 in the date. Strong secondary mint marks. Obverse Stage B: Stage A marker still present. Weaker secondary mint mark to the north. Obverse Stage C: Die gouge SE from the lower serif of the mint mark. Secondary mint mark to the north abraded away. Reverse Stage A: Die chips on the left inner leg of the N of CENT. Die chips on the lower underside diagonal bar of the N of CENT. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Reverse Stage C: Die crack NW from the tip of the right wheat ear. Die crack north from the tip of the left wheat ear.
