This variety was discovered on the 1925 (S) Buffalo Nickel, part of the Buffalo Nickels 1913-1938 series. Die markers: UVC-067 DMR-002 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die chip in upper loop of mintmark – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: Reverse and Obverse are LDS. Cross-referenced as FS-501. S/S East. FS-501. I need to see a specimen for new color, high-magnification, digital photographs.
