The 1909-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-002 shows mintmark repunching evidence from the hand-punching process used at the Philadelphia Mint to apply branch mint letters to working dies. This Lincoln cent was struck at the San Francisco Mint, weighing 3.11 grams with a diameter of 19.05 mm. Die markers: UVC-002 DMR-004 Stage A: Strong secondary mintmark – EDS Reverse is EDS Stage B: Medium secondary mintmark – MDS Reverse is MDS Stage C: Weak secondary mintmark – LDS Reverse is LDS Stage D: Very weak secondary mintmark – VLDS Light die crack lower Right wheat to rim – VLDS UVC-????
