Description
The 1909-S VDDR VDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 (S) Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: Reverse is EDS Obverse is LISTED as RPM-002 – VLDS Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Cross-referenced as FS-1502. Reverse is RDV-004 (Deep cut N, no V. D. B.) / RDV-003 (Shallow cut N, no V. D. B). Obverse is LISTED as RPM-002, S/Horizontal S. FS-1502.
