Description
=1904-O VAM-2A O Tilted Left, Clashed Obverse G= Discovered by John Roberts, August 2005. Revised 2010 2A (revised) III21 · C4b (O Tilted Left, Clashed Obverse G ) (181) Obverse III21– Clashed die with partial G from God of reverse next to Liberty's neck. Same clashed G die as VAM 28A but later die state than VAM 28A or VAM 32. May have rim cud between B and U. Reverse C4b– Slight doubling of top two leaf clusters in left wreath. Same die as VAM 6. Die Marker: Polishing lines in wreath bow. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The VAM 2A has a heavily polished reverse. Heavy polishing lines all over reverse. The VAM 2A does not have a polishing line under LLAR, which is a prime pick up point for the VAM 28A and no doubling of OF or Trust. # The BAR O was removed from the listing of the VAM-2A in 2010 by Leroy. The reference to the BAR O in the VAM Title was a typo. The VAM-2A and VAM-2 are completely different die marriages. The BAR O is now the new VAM-45, as of 2010.
