1904-O VAM-22A2 Doubled Profile, O Tilted Left, Denticle Impression Below Wing, Overlapped Reeding Discovered July 2008. Revised 2008 to add Overlapped Reeding. 22A2 III2 7 · C4b (Doubled Profile, O Tilted Left, Denticle Impression Below Wing) (?) Obverse III2 7- Die 2 has slightly doubled profile from hair down to chin with date on right side of normal position and diagonal polishing lines thru TY. Used with latest reverse die state of denticle impressions below wing after VAM 12 combo. Reverse C4b– Latest die state of denticle impression with obverse die 2 after VAM 12 combo with added faint die gouge above O in ONE and faint polished down denticle impression. Edge - Reeding is overlapping for about 14 segments at 12 o'clock and about 6 segments at 7:30 o'clock and also 2:30 _10 and 6:30 _2. DPIS - C3/B45RE Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: '''Comments: The reverse die started on the V22A1, then went to the V12B. Once the small die break occurred above the "O" in DOLLAR, it is called the V12A. From there, the reverse die went to the V22A2. Overlapped reeding is found on the V12A/12B/22A2. Revision in 2008 for overlapped reeding was the first for this date!!!!
