1887 VAM-1A "Donkey Tail" die break Discovered by A. George Mallis, July 1964. This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM. '''COMMENTS:''' Later die state of VAM-25 where an exciting die break forms as a small lump of metal on the bottom of the D of DOLLAR. Part of the Top 100 set, and recently featured in VamView Issue #2, the Donkey Tail is a coin even non-vam collectors want to own.
