=1878-S VAM-1I Gouges Bottom of Eagle's Left Wing= Discovered by Brian Raines, October 22, 2007. 1I II 1 B2a (Gouges Bottom of Eagle's Left Wing) (184) Obverse II 1 - Over polished nostril. Fourth right star left point slightly shallow. ''Die Marker'' - Diagonal die scratch back of nostril. Clash mark at eyelid, die gouge back of cap, die scratch between wheat leaf and cotton leaf. Reverse B2a - Three long diagonal die gouges at bottom left of eagle's left wing. R in Trust not broken. III S mint mark set slightly left at normal height.
