Description
ADC-100c-2007-01(GW) is an atypical die clash on a 2007-P George Washington Presidential dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The dies clashed strongly. On the obverse, the base of Liberty's crown shows just below Washington's sideburn, and Liberty's armpit crosses Washington's left eye. On the reverse, clash marks from the obverse have given Liberty's crown three new spikes, Washington's eyes appear in Liberty's armpit and to the left of the 1, and Washington's right cheek left a mark above the dollar sign. The die can be identified by a small die break on Washington's chin. Troy Watkins provided the coin to MDC.
