Description

2007-P WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 2007 George Washington Presidential dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling shows where the Statue of Liberty's right arm meets the second ray, counting clockwise from the head. On the obverse, a horizontal scratch lies above the T in PRESIDENT. On the reverse, AMERICA's M has a short gouge running north off its top left to the rim. Two short scratches run NNE from the circular line under AMERICA, one below the left side of the E and one below the space between the E and R. On the dollar sign, a short gouge heads SSE through the sign from the lower right of its vertical bar. Shawn Bell submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
