Description

Minor doubling shows to the north on the first 2 in the date and very slightly on the Y in LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack shows on Lincoln’s eyebrow. A die gouge (dot) shows in the field to the right of Lincoln’s forehead. A die gouge (dot) shows on the back edge of Lincoln’s central lapel. Reverse: A large die chip and associated die cracks show on the upper left edge of the shield. A die gouge shows in the field to the left of the E in E PLURIBUS. Submitted By: Steven J. Reverse: A pair of die gouges (dots) show in the field to the left of the tip of the shield. A tiny die gouge (dot) shows to the right of the L in PLURIBUS. A die gouge (dot) shows on the central right arm of the first U in PLURIBUS. A die gouge (dot) shows above the E in CENT.
