Description

Close doubling to the N on the pediment and floor of the Capitol Building, Mink's left thumb, the lei right of Mink's chin, and on the bottom of the pen.Die Markers: Obverse: Obverse is WDDO-005, doubling to the W in the hair detail above the ear. Numerous die cracks on the eye, nose, and lips. N/S die scratches below the ear. Die gouge NE of the front tip of the bust. Small die gouges left and right of the E in WE. Die gouge left of the bottom of the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: Large die breaks and chips above EQUAL, on and below Mink's extended hand. Curved die crack in Mink's hair. Pre-die break depression below the S in CENTS. NW/SE feeder finger scrapes through her neck and right of her right hand. Two NW/SE die scratches below MINK. Large die gouge touches the left side of the U in EQUAL. Die gouge inside the D in EDUCATION. Die gouge near the rim left of the U in UNITED. Die gouge above the left side of the A in STATES. Die gouge right of the Y in PATSY. Small die gouge below the right side of the M in AMERICA.
