Description
2024-P PTM WDDO-009 is a doubled die obverse on the 2024-P Hon. Patsy Takemoto Mink quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. Strong doubling to the east shows on the eyelid and the hair detail. On the obverse, weak die trails run NW from the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST, and a thin NW/SE scratch lies left of the S of TRUST. Reverse markers: a concentric scratch at the rim over OF AM; a gouge over the final T of STATES, on its right side; a gouge under the E of UNITED; a gouge left of the P of PLURIBUS; and a small gouge inside the U of OPPORTUNITY. Steven Bernatowicz submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
