Description

2022-P SR WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 2022-P Dr. Sally Ride quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. Slight doubling lies east of Ride's jacket collar, over her left shoulder. Both sides carry Wexler's master die doubling: WMDO-001 on the obverse and WMDR-001 on the reverse. On the obverse: a short crack on the back of the mouth; a thin NW/SE scratch under the D in GOD; a small gouge right of the T's base in LIBERTY; and a small gouge right of the Y in LIBERTY. On the reverse: weak north-south scratches across its left part; a strong north-south scratch above Ride's right jacket collar; many scratches at the rim under SALLY RIDE; a small gouge left of the M in AMERICA; left of DOLLAR's last L, a gouge; a small gouge over the Y in SALLY, on its right side; and a gouge right of the E in RIDE.
