The 2022 American Women Quarters Quarter is a United States quarter from the American Women Quarters (2022 - 2025) series. The obverse features George Washington facing right in a new dynamic portrait by Laura Gardin Fraser (her original 1931 design, finally adopted 90 years later), while the reverse displays unique designs honoring prominent American women who shaped the nation's history. Designed by Laura Gardin Fraser (obverse) / various reverse designers. Weighing 5.67 grams, 24.26 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. The American Women Quarters Program (2022-2025) features five new reverse designs each year honoring the accomplishments and contributions of notable American women. The program also debuted a new Washington obverse by Laura Gardin Fraser, whose design had originally been recommended for the 1932 quarter but was overruled by Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon. The first rotating quarter program to use the Fraser obverse. Features trailblazers like Maya Angelou, Sally Ride, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Harriet Tubman.
