Description

2022-P AMW WWHO-003 is a doubled working hub obverse on the 2022-P Anna May Wong quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is strong and lies to the north, on the eye. The obverse comes from the normal obverse master die, not WMDO-001. Since the doubling was in the working hub, Wexler says the markers on both sides differ from one affected working die to the next. Tanner Scott submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. So far Wexler has recorded WWHO-003 only on 2022-P Wong quarters. It calls the listing tentative and open to change as research continues into the master die and working hub problems of 2022 and 2023.
