Description

2022-P AMW WWHO-001 is a doubled working hub obverse on the 2022-P Anna May Wong quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is slight and lies to the northeast, on the eye. The obverse comes from the normal obverse master die, not WMDO-001. Because the doubling was in the working hub, Wexler says the markers on both sides differ from one affected working die to the next. Tanner Scott submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler records WWHO-001 on 2022-P quarters of three designs: Mankiller, Otero-Warren and Wong. It calls the listing tentative and open to change as research continues into the master die and working hub problems of 2022 and 2023.

None known Comments: WWHO-001 is known on 2022-P Mankiller, Otero-Warren, and Wong quarters. This listing is tentative and subject to change as more research on the 2022 and 2023 master die and working hub issues is done.; Wexler Variety ID: 2022-P 25¢ AMW WWHO-001
