Description
The 2018 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-002 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2018 (P) Block Island National Park Quarter, part of the America the Beautiful Quarters 2010-2021 series. Die markers: UVC-2386 DMR-003 Stage A: Reverse and Obverse are EDS Stage B: Die chip between the top most feathers – EDS Reverse is EDS Stage C: Die chip between the top most feathers is larger – EMDS Small die chip on bust West of designer's initials – EMDS Stage D: LDS (unconfirmed).
