The 2010 America the Beautiful Washington Quarter is a United States quarter from the America the Beautiful Quarters 2010-2021 series — the first year of the series. In 2010, the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints struck 364,144,293 quarters, including 7,008,238 clad proofs, 4,297,085 silver proofs and 5,838,970 satin-finish quarters. The obverse features George Washington facing left, based on a 1786 bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon and the reverse displays unique designs featuring national parks and sites from each state and territory. Inaugural year featuring Hot Springs (AR), Yellowstone (WY), Yosemite (CA), Grand Canyon (AZ), and Mount Hood (OR). Strong collector enthusiasm drove high first-year demand for both circulating and silver proof versions. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, 24.3 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Across its variants, estimated values range from $0 to $25 depending on mint mark, grade, and strike type. A notable auction result reached $1.5K in MS67 grade at eBay.
