The 2010 (P) Grand Canyon National Park Satin Finish Quarter is a special strike quarter struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the America the Beautiful Quarters 2010-2021 series. Total mintage reached 583,897. The obverse features George Washington facing left, based on a 1786 bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon, while the reverse displays unique designs featuring national parks and sites from each state and territory. Designed by John Flanagan/Phebe Hemphill. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, weighing 5.67 grams, 24.3 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #418859. The America the Beautiful Quarters Program (2010-2021) continued the legacy of rotating reverse designs, featuring national parks, monuments, forests, and historic sites.
