Description

Cataloged by the Wexler Team as 2006-P 25-cent ND WDDO-002, this State Quarter doubled die obverse was discovered on the North Dakota design. The State Quarters program (1999-2008) issued five unique reverse designs per year honoring each of the 50 states, while maintaining John Flanagan's Washington obverse. The quarter was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in cupronickel-clad copper at 5.67 grams and 24.3 mm diameter.
